This is a complete and original
Congressional Invitation set to the 1941 third term
inauguration of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
Congressional invitations were presented to VIP's as
invitation to the inaugural. This is the complete set
that includes the Ceremonies program, invitation,
portrait of President Roosevelt, portrait of Vice
President Wallace and the original envelope. The set is
in very good condition which is difficult to find for
this item. The envelope is marked No. 204 and has some
slight staining otherwise the whole set is in
great shape. This is one of the more elusive of
Roosevelt's inaugural term sets, especially in this
condition. |
