Collection of three items from the 1984 official visit of US Secretary of State George Shultz to attend the ANZUS Council Meeting in Wellington, Australia. Includes a schedule of events booklet for the Shultz visit, a program and schedule for the Council Meeting and a numbered badge issued to the U.S. Ambassador to Australia. All are original.
The Australia, New Zealand, United States Security Treaty (ANZUS was the 1951 collective security agreement which binds Australia and New Zealand and, also Australia and the United States to co-operate on military matters in the Pacific Ocean region
