Autograph of movie star Gregory Peck that was received at a White House event December 3, 1978. The even was a reception for the Kennedy Center Honors Program and the first recipients included Marian Anderson, Fred Astaire, George Balanchine, Richard Rogers and Arthur Rubinstein. The autograph is on the back of the First Lady's Press Secretary Fact Sheet - obviously grabbed in haste when the attendee was looking for something to have Gregory Peck sign! Not a beautiful specimen but nonetheless interesting given its attachment to The White House. An original and unusual item. 1978 marked the first year of the Kennedy Center honors adding to the historical value of this piece.
