This is an original and authentic button from the 1860 campaign of Abraham Lincoln for President and Hannibal Hamlin for Vice President. This is a ferrotype style button. Around the rim it says "Abraham Lincoln 1860 on the front" and Hannibal Hamlin 1860 on the reverse. Tintype photo of Abraham Lincoln in the center along with the full name "Abraham Lincoln 1860" surrounding the photo. The reverse has the Vice Presidential Candidate's photo. Great piece of american history at a very good price.
