FIrst Lady Pat Nixon Handwritten & Signed Letter & Envelope

Personal letter from First Lady Pat Nixon to former White House Staff member Dale Grubb who was also a key figure in the Nixon White House, during the Watergate Era. The letter is from April 1966 when the Nixon's were living in New York and prior to Richard Nixon being elected President in 1968.

The letter shows the close attachment of future White House insider Grubb to the Nixon family as the First Lady refers to her husband as "Dick" and thanks Grubb for attending a family event the day before. This is a two sided letter entirely handwritten on the personal note card of Patricia Nixon wit the raised embossed printed name "Mrs. Richard Nixon" on the front. The letter is signed "Pat"

Also includes the original envelope handwritten by Mrs. Nixon, including the return address and the reverse from their exclusive Fifth Avenue address in New York City.
