Set of five tickets to the 1924 Democratic National Convention held in New York City, June 1924. Each ticket is for a "Special Guest" for a different session at the convention. Main Floor reserved seat tickets. The convention took a record 103 ballots to nominate a presidential candidate. It was the longest continuously running convention in United States political history. It nominated John Davis and Charles Bryan for President and Vice President. Original tickets.
Historical Notes
The 1924 convention was also historic in that it was the first time that a major national political party included a woman nomination when Lena Springs was also nominated for Vice President.
