Official large poster size ballot from the 1924 Presidential campaign. These numbered ballots were used by citizens voting in the 1924 election. The Democratic Party candidates were John W. Davis for President and Charles W.Bryan for Vice President. The Republican Party candidates were Calvin Coolidge for President and Charles G. Dawes for Vice President who went on to win the election. Robert LaFollette was the Progressive party candidate and William Foster the Workers Party candidate. Voters were to place an X within the circle of the candidate they wished to vote for. Original, of course. The reverse has the printed inscription "Official Ballot for Presidential Electors County of Oneida Third Assembly District Town of Western November 4, 1924. Great conversation piece for an office or collection - especially if framed.
Historical Notes
Franklin D. Roosevelt (who later went on to become President of the Untied States) was the Vice Presidential candidate of the Democratic Party in 1920. Coincidentally, the ballot is from Hyde Park New York, home of Frankin Roosevelt when Harding ran for President
