| Description: One of the
most unique Roosevelt commemorative covers every
produced. Actually has three postmarks over an eleven
year period each one combining to spell out the
Presidents name. An amazing amount of planning went into
each of these covers by cover producer Robert G. Walker. We have seen less than a dozen of
these covers in our life and each one is different.
First postmark is February 19, 1934 (Presidents Day) at
FRANKLIN, New York, the second is postmarked DELANO
Minnesota on March 4, 1934 (1st anniversary of
inauguration) and ROOSEVELT, New York on date of
Roosevelt funeral and burial in Hyde Park. Patriotic
border cachet. Excellent condition and includes five
interesting and different U.S. Postage stamps.
This is one of two covers we have left in stock. After
this I doubt we will ever have another.
