This check is from president Harrison's personal checking account and is signed by him in his own hand. The check was written out to "self" and signed January 20, 1888 during Harrison's presidential campaign for President. The check is from Fletcher's Bank in Indianapolis, Indiana where Harrison lived before he changed his residence to the White House a short time later! The check is professionally framed and matted with an ornate antique gold color frame with black matting and gold trim. Also includes commemorative plaque at the bottom.
