Historical Notes
Original and authentic rarely seen signature of Thomas Jefferson. The signature was cut from a Presidential document and stored for years. It has good margins all around and is clean and very readable. At one time it was "fashionable" and common to cut signatures of famous individuals from documents and keep as a momento. Today, collectors covet the entire document, but signatures such as these are affordable and look great framed.
