Original paper poster from Robert "Bobby" Kennedy's 1960's campaign for the U.S. Senate from New York. Measures a huge 30" x 45" and would be a dramatic addition to any Kennedy collection, museum or library. At the bottom right it says "Robert F. Kennedy for U.S. Senate Committee". Great attractive Bobby Kennedy photo. Interesting that they referred to him as "Bob", not Bobby or Robert in this poster. We have seen this design in smaller cardboard signs but never in this size.
The Democratic state convention met on September 1, and nominated U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy on the first ballot with 968 votes against 153 for Congressman Samuel S. Stratton.
