This is a certificate issued to Howard S. Fisk appointing him as an "Additional Private of the Metropolitan Police Force, District of Columbia during the Inauguration of President Woodrow Wilson.Signed by Raymond W. Pullman, the Chairman of the Committee on Public Order and bearing the raised seal of the District of Columbia and the portrait of President Wilson and his Vice President Thomas Marshall. Original. Items from Wilson's inauguration are generally scarce due to resources required as part of World War I.
