Zachary Taylor US Mint Peace Medal Series

U.S. Mint Indian Peach medal medal for Zachary Taylor Inaugurated 1849. Uncirculated condition stil in the original plastic sealed wraper.

The obverse of the medal features a portrait of Zachary Taylor with the inscription "ZACHARY TAYLOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES 1849" centered along the border of the medal. The reverse of the medal features the "PEACE AND FRIENDSHIP" symbol with two hands clasped in token of amity; on the cuff of the left wrist three stripes with buttons, each button carrying the American eagle; the other wrist is bare; above the hands, crossed, the pipe of peace and the tomahawk.
