Historical Notes
original Inaugural Medal from the 1901 Inauguration of William McKinley as President of the United States. This is one of the first official medals ever issued. Mintage is estimated at approximately 4,000 medals and measures 44 mm and is manufactured of heavy bronze. The medals were produced by Joseph K Davison and Sons for the inaugural committee. In very good condition, with a few very slight edge dings and overall tarnished.
