1948 Democratic National Convention Honorary Page Badge. The convention was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and nominated Truman & Barkley to run against Dewey & Warren. Issued to a convention Honorary Page. The badge measures 5 1/2" long X 1 3/4" wide. Original.
This convention was the first convention where NBC and CBS broadcast live television coverage of the entire convention, albeit in just select geographic areas.
