1892 Kings County New York Republican Campaign Committee Silk Ribbon. Attractive badge with eagle at the top and two crossed flags each with 3-D ruffles sewed to the ribbon. Gold type reads 1892 King County Republican Campaign Committee. No specific reference to Grover Cleveland but given that New York was Cleveland's home state and he carried New York, that attachment to Cleveland's campaign is obvious. On the reverse it references Whitehead & Hoag Co Badge Makers at the top ands Stevenson & Marsters No. 391 Fulton Street, Brooklyn New York on the bottom tag. Original.
Although New York was Cleveland's home state, he still only managed to carry New York with 48.99% of the vote vs. Benjamin Harrison's 45.58 votes.
