1896 Rare Bimetallic National Convention - Gold Democrats -California Badge. July 22, 1896 convention. Large elaborate flower top pin with golden California bear. Gold ribbon with darker gold rpint, tapered end with two levels of tassels. I doubt we will see another one of these come up for sale in many years - if ever. Original.
The Bi-metallic League of California selected delegates to attend the National Silver convention to be held in St. Louis on Juyl 22, the same date as the Populist Convention.
