National Convention Ass't Secretary badge from the 1932 Republican National Convention, held in Chicago, Illinois. The convention nominated Herbert Hoover for President. Hoover was later defeated by Franklin Roosevelt's for his first term in office. Brass header of Capitol Dome, blue enameled 'National Convention' at center, red, white and blue enamel flag below, to which is linked a brass title bard with blue title reading "Ass't Secretary" which suspends a circular medal with George Washignton and eagle ablove with year 1932. Red, white and blue ribbon behind. Original.
