This is an original ticket from the first session of the 1960 Democratic Naitonal Convention held at the Sports Arena Los Angeles, California. This ticket admitted the holder to the actual convention floor - obviously a VIP or delegate. The convention nominated John Fitzgerald Kennedy who went on to win election over Richard Nixon in a hotly contested election. Ticket measures 5 1/2" x 2 1/2". Very good clean condition. Reserved seat. 4th session with the original stub still attached.
