George H.W. Bush Era Air Force One Pewter Presentation Gift Plate. Air Force One President George H. W. Bush Solid pewter collectible Plate. Sculpted appearance with the Seal of the President attractively designed in a 3-D effect in the center. Along the rim are the recessed words "President of the United States Air Force One" with gold colored filling. Very nice display piece. It was obtained by the current owner directly from a White employee who had obtained it while visiting Air Force One. Original.
Technically, “Air Force One” is used to designate any Air Force aircraft carrying the President of the United states, but it is now standard practice to use the term to refer to specific planes that are equipped to transport the Commander-in-Chief.
