Here is something you don't see very often. A box of stationery from Air Force One during the administrations of Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford.
The box includes 9 letterheads and 13 matching envelopes, all with the Seal of the President and "Aboard Air Force One" in gold type. 4 large size letterheadsin blue and a notepad with 22 sheets. As you can see from the box label it originally contained more letterheads and envelopes.
In addition it includes the rarely seen outer box with the sticker that identifies the items as produced for Air Force One.
This comes from the personal collection of the son of an Air Force One crew chief during the Nixon and Ford administrations. We had two such boxes, this is the last one.
SAM 27000 was the second of two Boeing aircraft that were specifically configured and maintained for the use of the President of the United States.
