1976 Benjamin Franklin United States Bicentennial Medal. Gold. 25.2 mm. approximately 21.3 grams. The front features a graphic of Benjamin Franklin with the Liberty Bell along side, with the inscription: JULY 4, / 1776 / PHILADELPHIA. The reverse has an image of an eagle with an olive branch and the inscription BICENTENNIAL 1976 and FREEDOM. Engraved by Frank Gasparro, the Chief Engraver of the United States Mint. The edge is inscribed MEDALLIC ART CO. DANBURT CT. 18 KT. GOLD and numbered. Includes the original wood and velvet display case
