Unofficial medal commemorating the inauguration of President Jimmy Carter on January 20, 1977. This unofficial medal was produced by the Medallic Art Co. Danbury CT and designed by the renowned sculptor Mico Kaufman .Bronze On the reverse of the medallion, a laurel wreath surrounds the announcement and date of the inauguration. Very nice hi-relief bronze medal. While Medallic Art had produced many of the post inaugural medals, this time the Franklin Mint won the process and Medallic Art minted their own proposed design.
