Scarce British Embassy & Churchill Christmas Card

Very scarce Christmas and New Year's card produced by the British Embassy in Washington and highlighting President Kennedy declaring Winston Churchill an honorary citizen of the United States. . The front includes the royal seal beautifully embossed in gold and the simple wording "British Embassy Washington". The inside left panel says 'With all good wishes for Christmas the New Year" and inscribed very lightly Mary, Gordon & Randy., whom we assume worked at the Embassy. The right hand panel has a striking photo of President John F Kennedy in front of the White House with the inscription "President Kennedy declares Sir Winston Churchill an Honorary Citizen of the United States - April 9, 1963. The last time we saw this item for sale (other than this card) was at auction in 1969.
