"Shoot Out at Kansas City" novelty button from the 1976 Republican Naitonal Convention. There were actually two different versions of this button produced (actually four in total when you consider there were two smaller size versions also produced). This button was considered the pro- Ronald Reagan button since Reagan wore the white cowboy hat and Gerald Ford wore the black cowboy hat.

In the Pro Gerald Ford version of this button, Ford was seen wearing the white cowboy hat. Gerald Ford won the Republican nomination at the 1976 Republican convention.
