Set of 4 Cigars & Two Packs of Cigarettes In Original Packaging. The owner acquired the unopened (and unused) canister of 4 Corona Cigars with the Seal of the President of the United States logo. He did so at the time, because of the scandal surrounding President Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky. At the time he also acquired a Clinton humidor which is not included in this listing. Also included are two packs of still sealed cigarettes with the Seal of the President on one side and the American Flag on the reverse. The cigars are obviously not the originals "used" at the time but he felt it was an interesting souvenir from that point in history.
During the Monica Lewinsky scandal, cigars became an unusual but memorable detail after testimony suggested they were involved in intimate encounters. While sensationalized by the media, this reference turned a private matter into a symbol of public scandal.
The imagery was widely discussed, adding a mix of ridicule and shock that amplified the controversy’s cultural impact.
