C. 2000 George W. Bush Felt Campaign Pennant – Collegiate Pacific Brand. At first glance the style of this smaller size pennant harks back to an early vintage style. However, the initials, while in that vintage style, specifically read "G.W. Bush", not G.W. Bush. An interesting item for the George W. Bush collector that we have not see before. Original. The reverse has a tag for the Collegiate Pacific Co., Roanoke, Virginia.
Collegiate Pacific has a long history. It began in Ames, Iowa, in 1904 and became one of America's major manufacturers of felt college pennants. The company opened its Roanoke facility in 1963. a
