Rare George Washington "Your most obedt Able Servant" Bold Clear Signature

EP5200

We are proud to present this original and authentic signature of United States President George Washington. Extremely bold clear signature of our nation's first President. Cut from a sheet of correspondence from Washington. The balance of the text was written by someone other than the President, likely an assistant. Just above Washington's signature is the wording "I have the honor to be Sir Your most obedt Able Servant" (a term used in history similar to "Your Most Obediant Servant" )

If you have always wanted to add a genuine autograph of President George Washington, this is an excellent opportunity at a very attractive price. It likely won't last long. Would look fantastic framed, in fact at one time it was framed.

Includes two Certificates of Authenticity, the first of which is a PSA / DNA authentication signed by James Pence Jr,, Steve Grad and John Reznikoff, and the second commissioned by us from a forensic document examiner.

Also includes a seperate to discussing the provenance of the signature, mentioning that at one time it was given to someone in 1834 and then to someone in Vermont. Sorry, but we cannot make out the exact wording.
