Governor Ronald Reagan Owned Custom Made Stetson Cowboy Hat. Rare and desirable custom Stetson cowboy hat, personally made for Ronald Reagan during his tenure as Governor of California. A well preserved Reagan relic which exhibits light usage, the hat features "Gov. Ronald Reagan" engraved on the inner leather perspiration band along with the Stetson logo. Acquired from Reagan by famed Hollywood western stuntman John "Bear" Hudkins (who worked with Reagan during his acting days) and accompanied by a detailed Letter of Authenticity that outlines the history of the hat. A remarkable addition to any Ronald Reagan collection or museum. Obtained at auction by the Dan Hansen Collection. We have seen several Stetson hats designed for Ronald Reagan as President, but this is the only one that we have seen that was from Reagan's days as Governor or California. Original.
