I'm not sure why, but we've always been intrigued with this button. It was issued for the Centennial of the impeachment of President Andrew Johnson. 1868-1968. Ever since President Nixon's impeachment just about every presidential term has seen its share of impeachment buttons. Original button.
The Senate did not convice President Andrew Johnson in 1868.
