Simple but scarce ticket to the 1977 inauguration of Jimmy Carter as President. This is the only one of this particular variety ticket we have ever seen. It admits the recipient to the U.S. Capitol Building and U.S. Capitol Inaugural Stands as was issued by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies. We assume this was part of a special congressional inaugural ceremonies package since it is similar in style to the inaugural ceremonies tickets. Original, of course.
