1961 John F Kennedy Inaugural Ball Numbered Ticket. This numbered ticket was for the official Inaugural Ball held at the Sheraton-Park Hotel location, Washington D.C., on January 20, 1961. Bold embossed gold inaugural seal on the left and a notation at the bottom right that states "FORMAL DRESS". This ticket was used at the inaugural ball and includes the handwritten security checkmark on the reverse that showing it had been used for entry to the event.
There were a total of five official inaugural ball locations held simultaneously in Washington D.C. The locations include The National Guard Armory, The Mayflower Hotel, The Statler Hilton Hotel, The Sheraton-Park Hotel and The Shoreham Hotel.
