1961 JFK Inaugural Parade Honored Guest Ticket White House East PSA . Issued for President John F. Kennedy’s Inaugural Parade on January 20, 1961, this Honored Guest ticket granted access to premier seating at the White House East grandstand on the south side of Pennsylvania Avenue Row 1—among the most desirable parade-viewing locations and obviously a VIP. Seating in this area was reserved for invited guests and dignitaries rather than the general public. For those of you that prefer PSA authentication, the ticket is slabbed and graded by PSA as Full (tab attached), Excellent–Mint Grade 6, reflecting strong eye appeal and preservation. A historically important inaugural artifact from one of the most iconic moments of the Kennedy presidency. Original.
For the 1961 inauguration, seating along Pennsylvania Avenue was carefully tiered, with areas adjacent to the White House allocated to official reviewing stands and nearby Honored Guest sections. These locations were chosen for their proximity to the President and the ceremonial slow point of the parade route. While distinct from the Presidential Reviewing Stand itself, White House East Honored Guest seating placed attendees immediately beside the core viewing area, offering exceptional sightlines and underscoring the privileged status of those invited to occupy this section.
