Malcolm X “Merry X-Mas” Novelty Button – Unusual Christmas / Civil Rights Design. Unusual Malcolm X “Merry X-Mas” button featuring a bold portrait of the civil rights figure incorporated into the letter “X,” topped with a Santa Claus hat. Apparently intended as a playful visual pun rather than a conventional political campaign or protest message. The maker and exact date are unknown, although the style and construction suggest a later issue. An unusual piece of Malcolm X-related popular culture.
No manufacturer information on the curl or reverse.
