Description couresty of the Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection. This scarce lithograph features head and shoulders portraits of Presidents Abraham Lincoln, William McKinley, and James A. Garfield. President McKinley's portrait is in the center encircled with a wreath and with an angel on each side. The angel to the viewer's left rests her left arm on the wreath and holds a palm leaf in her right hand. The angel to the viewer's right rests her chin on her right hand with her eyes closed. She holds a torch with the flame extinguished in her left hand. "Our Beloved President" is printed below the portrait. Above the portrait is a patriotic eagle with wings spread resting on a patriotic shield with four American flags extending to the sides. A banner above the eagle reads, "Of Imperishable Fame." In the upper left corner is the wreath-framed portrait of President Abraham Lincoln who faces slightly toward the viewer's right. President Garfield's portrait is in the upper right corner surrounded with a wreath. He is shown facing slight toward the viewer's left. Beneath each of the portraits are the birth dates, dates elected as president, dates shot, and dates of death. This poster will not win any beauty awards as presented, however, when framed it will remove most of the water staining. Price appropriately and not seen very often.
