1972 Richard Nixon Black Americans Campaign Flyer

This is an interesting campaign brochure from the 1972 election campaign of Richard M. Nixon for his second term as President of the United States. It is an eight page brochure targeted specifically at Black American voters. The inside includes information on Nixon's voting record regarding black issues, a list of black appointees during his first term, his record on Human Rights, Welfare, Housing, and Employment. It also includes photos and an interesting quote that says:"Now I know all the words. I know all the gimmicks and the phrases that would win the applause of black audiences and professional civil rights leaders. I am not going to use them. I am interested in deeds" - President Richard M. Nixon.
