Official Secret Service Presidential Gift Pin From Richard Nixon Visit to Florida. The day after Richard Nixon won the 1972 Presidential election he celebrated his victory by taking Air Force One to his compound in Key Biscayne, Florida. The compound was sometimes referred to as The Florida White House.
These unique pins were given to official guests to identify them to security personnel and the Secret Service allowing the individual to be in close proximity to the President. They are marked "Presidential Guest" with a Presidential seal inlaid in the center and are individually numbered beneath the presidential seal. Numbered 110, gray and gold. The pin was from Richard Nixon's visit to Key Biscayne, Florida, November 8-12, 1972. Original.
