1988 Ronald Reagan Summit VIsit to Russia Scarce Invitation Set.  This was the historic visit of President Ronald Reagan to Moscow, for the Moscow Summit and meetings between Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev  General Secretary of the Soviet Union. The visit finalized the Intermediate-Range Nuclear forces Treaty (INF). Includes the original invitation to the dinner hosted by President Reagan in honor of General Secretary Borbachev, May 31, 1988. Also included are three additional cards, one a card requesting the recipient to respond to Spaso House, another card that served as an identiciation card for entrance to Spaso House, a card stating that the event was "In honor of His Excellency The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Coummunist Party of the Soviet Union and Mrs. Gorbachev, and also including the original envelope from The White House. The Spaso House is the residence of the U.S. Ambassodor to the Soviet Union and is often used as housing for U.S. Presidents when attending historic visits. Original
