1981 Official Inaugural Cover Set Authorized by the Presidential Inaugural Committee. Heavily hyped set of three different covers (envelopes) produced by the Washington Mint and now somewhat hard to find. It was promoted as "The Only Official 1981 Inaugural Covers" that were authorized by the 1981 Presidential Inaugural Committee. The set of three different covers depicted President Ronald Reagan and Vice President George Bush. Includes the original backing poster and outer folder, along with several promotional flyers. Original.
One cover is postmarked at Washington D.C., the second postmarked form Pacific Palisades, California the home of President Reagan and the third at the home of George H.W. Bush in Houston, Texas.
