The recipients name is not present on the medal but is shown on the sticker on the cover - Mrs. Linda F. Werner of Washington, D.C. Large patriotic red, white and blue ribbon behind that suspends a large rectangular medallion with GOP elephant and "1984 Republican National Convention" and skyline image. Original.
This convention marked the first time in history that a major party's presidential nominee accepted the nomination via satellite.
