1981 Ronald Reagan "The Leader From The West" Mike Sougstad Numbered & Signed Poster Print. Exquisite poster print numbered and signed by artist Mike Sougstad. Titled "The Leader from the West". Shows a smiling Reagan in his trademark cowboy hat. Limited edition. Original.
Mike Sougstad was born in Madison, South Dakota in 1939, but grew up in Fulton. He was the Director of the Pierre Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director of the South Dakota Cowboy and Western Heritage Hall of Fame, and Director of the High Plains Heritage Center in Spearfish. He also worked with the West in Miniature Museum, and painted murals at the Middle Border Museum. Sougstad taught art at the college level in Wyoming, Colorado, and South Dakota. He was named the Art Department Head at Dakota Wesleyan University in January 2004.
