1994 Set of 2 White House Dinner Menu's From President of Ukraine. The first event at The White House took place on March 4, 1994 and between President Clinton and Leonid Kravchuck. Then on November 22, 1994 newly elected President Leonid Kuchma made a state visit to Clinton's White House. Set includes the menus from both events with the gold embossed presidential seal at the top and the gilt gold edging. Original, of course.
From the collection of a former White House staff member.
On March 4, 1994, President Leonid Kravchuk met President Bill Clinton at the White House, securing U.S. support and security assurances as Ukraine advanced nuclear disarmament and reforms. On November 22, 1994, newly elected President Leonid Kuchma made a state visit, producing agreements—including space and economic cooperation—and reaffirming U.S.–Ukraine ties. These visits formed a continuum that helped lead to the Budapest Memorandum signed two weeks later on December 5, 1994.
