1963 John F. Kennedy Assassination - Texas Welcome Dinner Program - Canceled By the Assassination. This is the program produced by the Texas Democrat Party to commemorate the event that was scheduled to have ben held in Austin Texas on the day of Kennedy's assassination. The event was obviously never held and souvenirs and remembrances from this event are coveted by collectors. The program was to be held in honor of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johson and their wives November 22, 1963 a the Munciipal Auditorium, Austin Texas. Beautifully printed, with seals of the President, Vice President and Texas Governor John Connolly in bronze and black at the top. Slight background toning marks and small crease at upper right corner. Original.
