1899 Theodore Roosevelt Classic Rough Riders Image Poster. Imprint of Kurz & Allison, Chicago Ill. at the bottom right and the inscription Col. Theodore Roosevelt U.S.V. at the bottom center. A scarce poster that depicts Roosevelt on horseback in military attire, holding an upraised sword in one hand and the reins in the other. The background shows other soldiers from the 1st United States Volunteer Cavalry Regiment, also known as the "Rough Riders".
