White House Fence Artifact From The Trump Era Fence Renovation. An enterprising individual acquired a portion of the White House fence that was replaced during the 2019 White House security renovation project during the presidency of Donald J. Trump, when the height of the fence was doubled to 13 feet. From what we have been told, he kept a portion and sold the rest, including this spear topper from the top of the fence. It is housed in an attractive wooden case with a gold and cobalt blue metal emblem attached to the top and a bronze plaque on the inside lid that says "The White House West Wing Fence Piece". The case is obviously not White House issue, but enhances this attractive display that will be an amazing conversation piece in any collection. Also included, is a printed photograph of the spear topper with the White House in the background. The key to the case is included in a pouch inside the case.

Details

In 2019, the White House underwent a major security renovation focused on enhancing its perimeter protection. A key feature was the installation of a new security fence, doubling the height of the previous one to 13 feet, with enhanced anti-climb and intrusion-resistant technologies. Designed to maintain historical aesthetics while improving safety, the upgrade aimed to address vulnerabilities exposed by past breaches. The project balanced robust security measures with preserving the iconic look of the nation's executive residence.
