Original Flight Certificate presented to lucky individuals who has the opportunity to have flow in Air Force One as a guest of President Lyndon Johnson. Graphic of the Presidential Seal at the top. Unused. One of the earliest examples of these flight certificates we've seen. In fact, this one does not use the term "Air Force one" but rather "Presidential Jet". Comes from the personal collection of a retired White House employee.
The "Air Force One" call sign was created after a 1953 incident during which the plane carrying President Dwight D. Eisenhower, entered the same airspace as a commercial airline flight using the same call sign
