Marilyn Monroe Legends of Hollywood full mint sheet of twenty stamps issued by the United States Postal Service. Nicely framed in mahogany and black colored framed ready for hanging. Marilyn Monroe (otherwise known as Norma Jeane Mortenson) was an American actress and model that typically played "dumb blonde" characters int he movies and became a sex symbol in the 1950's and 1960's before her death in 1962. She was romantically linked to President John F Kennedy and sang Happy Birthday Mr. President at Madison Square Garden in New York, in what became a memorable and inconic performance.
