Woven in the Machinery Department at the World's Columbian Exposition, this desirable woven silk memorial book mark features a bearded Lincoln portrait as the centerpiece. Original.

The portrait is surrounded by a floral design surmounted by a spread-winged eagle clutching the U.S. shield. An American flag on a staff, with a ribbon reading "E. Pluribus Unum" flies above the eagle. A scroll bears the words "Emancipation Proclamation" at the top and "Abraham Lincoln" at the bottom. Below the scroll is a passage from the end of Lincoln's second inaugural address.
