Quick Overview

Straight from the estate collection of former California State policeman and bodyguard for Governor and then President, Ronald Reagan. Freeman Calvert was not only the protector of Ronald Reagan during his term as Govenror, but also someone he was proud to call his friend.

Includes Reagan's original book that he wrote with Richard G. Hubler. It has been signed on the first page by President Ronald Reagan on October 20, 1981 and inscribed "To Freeman P. Calvert With Very Best Wishes & Regards, Ronald Reagan".

A great Ronald Reagan conversation piece and, particularly interesting given that it was a gift to Reagan's friend and protector.

Also comes with a copy of a newspaper article from California, that featured a story about Mr. Calvert in which he specially mentioned "Two things that i treasure dearly are a personal letter of thanks upon my retirement (in 1972) and an autographed book - both from governor Reagan". In addition it includes an original note on White House stationery to Mr. Calvert that says ""The President had a few free moments this morning so we did get a chance to have your book signed before he left for Cancun".

Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and our 100% guarantee of authenticity. A remarkable gift for anyone who appreciates and admires the late President of the United States.
