Engraved style certificate card fromt he 1896 Democratic National Convention held in Chicago, Illinois, July 7, 1896. The convention nomined William Jennings Bryan for President. The certificate was issued to a W. J. McAllister who was appointed as a Special Officer for the convention. Very attractive eagle and flag design.
